We had a fun birthday party for Maia on Saturday morning.
We were supposed to have it in the park, complete with grilling, playground equipment and swimming in the wading pool... But it was 57 degrees and rainy and windy at party time, so we moved it indoors to the cafe at our church.
There was some indoor play equipment from the daycare, and plenty of space for cooking and partying. We had a nice list of guests, all the grandpas and grammas, Aunt Rena & Uncle Troy with Cassie & Lexi, and Hal & Martha brought John. It was a nice thing to have at least one family there who isn't related to us!

The big kids decided the preschool toys weren't for them, so they pretended to play on their computers. What ever happened to imagination?
We had a "Hello Kitty" cake and decorations, and Maia got lots of cute clothes and toys for gifts. Thanks to all who attended! It was a fun day.
