New TV

As of today, we are the proud new members of a 26" LCD flat screen HDTV.

We have been selling off a lot of stuff during the course of our move, and saving the money for this TV exchange. Our old 19" TV is starting to do funky things, it doesn't always agree with the VCR/DVD player, and sometimes it just fades out to black.

We decided it was time to make the change to HDTV and since we're using Matt's old wardrobe as our entertainment center now (because of the huge closet in the master bedroom), we needed something less than 18" deep.

Matt spent the evening fiddling with it, and drooling over the picture quality. Mind you, we don't have cable, but anything that is broadcast in HD comes to us as clear as a bell. We have a few fuzzy stations (which we couldn't even get before), but most things come in so clearly it's mind boggling. Matt spent most of the evening watching a special on Les Paul on Public TV, and enjoyed the nature broadcasts that followed because of the clarity of the picture.

Exciting times in the Morrison house, I tell ya!
